BACKGROUND
This reagent1 ,2 is endowed with double specificity for CD3 expressed by cytotoxic T lymphocytes and NG2 proteoglycan . The double specificity overcomes the limitation of single antibodies which do not activate T lymphocytes which lack Fc receptors and bind the target antigen with both Fab regions. The bispecific antibody possesses high cytotoxic potential also for transformed cells expressing low levels of the NG2 proteoglycan2 (see reagent MP-AA-8 of this Catalog).

PRODUCT
Each vial contains the indicated amount of IgG (HPLC, Prot. A) in 0,1% gelatine and 0,05% NaN3.

SPECIFICITY
Double specificity for CD3 expressed on cytotoxic T lymphocytes and the NG2 proteoglycan expressed by transformed melanocytes and other malignancies, including acute leukemias (see Reagent MP-AA-8 of this Catalog).

STORAGE
Store frozen, avoid repeated freeze-thawing. Stable for 2 yrs.
