BACKGROUND
CD157 which displays a 33% similarity with CD38 , is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol molecule which enhances pre-B cell growth. The expression of the molecule is increased in bone marrow stromal cells of patients affecyted by reumathoid arthritis.

SPECIFICITY
Known also as BP-3/IF-7; BST-1, Mo5 is expressed on : monocytes , machrophages, granulocytes,
follicular dendritic cells, endothelia , myeloid leukemia, lymphoid progenitor cell, mesothelial cells and is an indipendent prognostic marker of recurrence in a subset of ovarian carcinomas (ref.2).

Store frozen, avoid repeated freeze-thawing. Stable for 2 yrs.
